Our Investigators
Lisa K. Mannix, M.D.
is a board certified neurologist. She earned her medical degree at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. She then completed her internship and Neurology residency at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation, where she also served as chief resident in Neurology. She was the first recipient of the Seymour Diamond Clinical Fellowship in Headache Education at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation. She is certified by the National Board in Headache Management and also has Headache Medicine Subspecialty Certification. Dr. Mannix specializes in migraine headache and has been involved in clinical research since 1992.
David M. Ellison, M.D.
is board certified in internal medicine. He earned his degree from Wright State University School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio where he is currently an Assistant Professor and Associate Student Clerkship Director in the department of Internal Medicine. In addition to the internal medicine subspecialty disciplines, Dr. Ellison has special interest in dermatologic and cosmetic therapeutic indications.
Zainab P. Contractor, M.D.
Is board certified in Neurology. She earned her medical degree from The Aga Khan University in Karachi, Pakistan. She then completed her internship and neurology residency at The Long Island Jewish Medical Center in NewYork. She completed her Clinical Neurphysiology fellowship from Rush Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center, in Chicago, IL. Dr. Contractor has special interest in women’s health and is now dedicated full time to clinical research.
